Can you tell me a little about your company?
MAYE's (mah-yeh) Cleaning Service provides superior quality residential and office cleaning in the city of Chicago since 2007.  A family-operated and owned company insuring customer satisfaction by delivering honesty, reliability, expertise, and professional service.  MAYE's Cleaning Service focuses on superb client service and establishing relationships utilizing innovative approaches.

What services do you offer?
We offer residential and commercial/office cleaning.  For residential cleaning, we welcome one-time, recurring, move-in/out, post-renovation, common area cleaning.

What is included in your cleaning?

What is NOT included in the cleaning?
·Moving heavy furniture and/or appliances

·Cleaning inside closets (we do not want to move/touch your personal items)

·Washing dishes

·Washing/scrubbing walls

·Cleaning shelf liners

·Laundry services

·Ironing clothes

·Cleaning pet areas or taking care of pets such as feeding and cleansing (we are pet friendly though)

·Doing any other errands

What are your additional fees?
Additional fees include (if requested), but not limited to:
· Cleaning stairways that are NOT inside the home- $15
· Damp wiping blinds- $7 per window
· Cleaning balcony/terrace/patio/interior or exterior porches/exterior platforms- $15
· Kitchen Deep Clean bundle- $70

What is a "Kitchen Deep Clean" bundle?
A Kitchen Deep Clean bundle is an additional fee that is usually requested for move-in/out cleanings.  It includes the INTERIOR cleaning of the refrigerator, stove/oven, and kitchen cabinets. For the bundle, a supplementary charge of $70 is added if requested.  If requesting separately, a $30 additional fee is required for each one.  Please note that the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets must be empty at the time of the cleaning if requesting interior cleaning (cleaning the exterior of the refrigerator, stove/oven, and kitchen cabinets are always included in our standard quotes).

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies or do I have to provide them?
Our cleaning teams provide the cleaning supplies and vacuum and it is included in the quote.  We use brand name cleaning products that are eco-friendly.   However, if you request to use your cleaning supplies, we will gladly do so.

How many cleaners do you send?
Our cleaning teams are comprised of 2-3 professional cleaners.  Since our quotes are flat rates and not hourly, you will not never see an increase in the quote regardless of the number of cleaners that are sent to your home.  Each team has a team leader who speaks fluent English to ease communications without he client.  We work very hard to send the same team to your home to establish a better relationship with the cleaners.

Why don't you offer hourly quotes?
In order to minimize unexpected pricing surprises to our clients, we designed a system of flat rates to facilitate pricing.

How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by calling 312-330-3591 (please leave a message if we miss your call and we will return it promptly) or by sending an email to info@mayescleaningservice.com.

How far in advance do I need to book an appointment?
Scheduling an appointment depends on availability.  We recommend to book at least three days in advance.  Please note that Thursdays and Fridays are our most popular days, so they fill up pretty quick.

Do you offer last minute cleanings?
We do offer last minute cleanings only if there is availability for the day.

What areas do you cover?

What is your payment policy?
Payment is due at the time of the cleaning and given to the cleaning team (or left at a specific place of your choice if not present).  Cash and checks made payable to MAYE's Cleaning Service are gladly accepted.  Credit card payments are also accepted via PayPal.  Please visit our Payments page for more information. 

Do I need to be home at the time of the cleaning?
It is not required for the client to present at the time of the cleaning.   Most of our clients are usually not home during normal business hours.  Many clients provide us with a key to their home or arrange for the cleaning team to pick up the keys with the doorman (if available), a neighbor/friend or at a secure location (under the mat, mailbox, etc.).  Some of our clients leave their doors unlocked for the cleaning team.  We are flexible to accommodate different situations.

What is your key holding policy?
Keys are always kept and secured at our office and handled only by cleaning team leaders upon scheduled appointments.

Do I need to sign a contract for a recurring service?
If interested in having your appointments reserved based on frequency (per availability), a contract is not necessary.  Your appointments will be scheduled ahead of time based on the requested frequency and receive a reminder a day prior to your scheduled appointment.  Please note of our cancellation/rescheduling policies if you do have reserved appointments.

What is your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment to cancel or reschedule in order to avoid a $20-$35 fee added to your next cleaning.

What should I do prior to my cleaning appointment?
In order to give you the greatest value, we ask you to take a few minutes the night before to pick up extraneous clothing, important documents, toys and other personal household items.

What is your pet policy?
Our cleaning teams are pet friendly.  Even though our cleaning teams love pets, we kindly ask for all dogs and cats to be confined, locked away or removed from the premises prior to the scheduled cleaning.

What if something is damaged during your cleaning?
Accident rarely happen. But if they do, please notify the cleaning team leader immediately if present.  If not present at the time of the cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours to have the item repaired or replaced.

Can you provide references?
Due to protecting the privacy of our clients, we cannot offer references.  However, you can read our independent reviews by actual clients on our Reviews page.
